This policy outlines the refund and cancellation terms for Rumi, an AI companion chat application operated by Zonko Labs Private Limited.
1. Refund Policy
1.1 Eligibility
You may be eligible for a refund under the following circumstances:
- Service issues that prevented you from using Rumi as intended
- Technical failures on our end that resulted in loss of paid features or functionality
- Non-delivery of a purchased subscription or feature
1.2 Time Limit
Refund requests must be submitted within 24 hours from the time of payment. Requests made after this window may not be eligible for a refund.
1.3 How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, send an email to support@zonko.ai with the subject line “Refund Request”. Please include the following in your email:
- Your registered phone number
- The reason for the refund request
- Any relevant screenshots or details that support your request
1.4 Processing Time
Approved refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days and credited back to the original payment method used for the purchase.
1.5 Non-Refundable Items
The following are not eligible for refunds:
- Partial subscription periods (e.g., unused days within a billing cycle)
- Subscriptions cancelled after the 24-hour refund window
2. Subscription Cancellation
2.1 How to Cancel via Google Play Store
To cancel your Rumi subscription:
- Open the Google Play Store app on your device
- Tap your profile icon and go to Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions
- Select Rumi from your active subscriptions
- Tap Cancel subscription and follow the on-screen instructions
2.2 What Happens After Cancellation
- You will retain access to your subscription features until the end of the current billing period
- No prorated refunds are issued for unused time remaining in the billing cycle
- You can resubscribe at any time through the app or the Google Play Store
